Ok, so I was going to blog about this yesterday, but, I didn't want to take away from Sophia's debut. I left San Angelo yesterday to drive back home. Tyler didn't go with me because he had too much to do at work this week. I usually have no problem making the 4 1/2 drive without having to pee, especially when Tyler isn't with me. Well, I guess I had too much to drink before I left town yesterday. I had made it to Coleman and thought, I can make it 3 more hours~ YEAH right. I made the mistake of holding it to Cross Plains. By the time I got to the convenient store, my eye balls were floating! So, I grabbed Reese out of the carseat. We had to buy her a new carseat last week because her feet and head were about hanging over and she was looking a little white trash in her too small carseat (the point of that tidbit was that I didn't have the seat where I could carry her in it). So I get to the bathroom and there's no on in there. I manage to sit down. Reese is on my lap. I am not about to sit her on the floor and pick up (GAG) every germ in there. She decided that it would be a good time to start choking me so that she could get my necklace in her mouth (her new favorite game), so I turned her to the side so she couldn't get my necklace. Well then she starts bouncing up and down because she loves to ride the horsey! OK, seriously! How am I going to explain if I get pee all over the seat.....because she is being a bucking bronco! I was telling her to stop and she was cracking up and bouncing higher. SOMEBODY HELP ME! Then the little thought of, man I wish she was wearing overalls then I could hang her on the hook on the back of the door. (Just kidding). So I am done, but now I have to pull up my pants and button them- impossible with one hand. I manage to stand her up and then squeeze her with my legs so she doesn't fall on that dirty floor. I got the job done!
Note to self- Don't travel without the hubby! I never knew that going to the bathroom could be so hard!

Introducing Sophia Hope Ellis!
Here is my sweet little niece. After a long labor, the princess arrived at 8:49 pm on Tuesday, February 24th. She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. and was 19 inches long. Reese and her cousin are exactly 8 months apart to the day. They were both born on Tuesday, the 24th.
Brittney and Jaime are both home and doing well.
Welcome to the family sweetie!
We love you so much!
I was going to introduce her, but it looks like she can make her introduction all by herself!

Hi, I have blog stalkers!
Reese, playing with her V Day presents from Aunt Britt!
Of course she is working on waxing of the cereal puffs!
Someone call Intervention- the baby is addicted!
One of my kids at school brought her this book today!
Reese is obviously unaware that she is wearing a skirt!

Happy Bow making/birthday/Valentine's Day!
Reese and her Daddy-O with the world's smallest birthday cake.....there is some cake mass in there somewhere......white chocolate raspberry truffle!
Reese is zoned in and thinking how she can get a hold of it!
Tyler's birthday was yesterday. This is breakfast at The Village grill. We didn't get a card...the makeshift scribble scrabble on the table cloth will have to do.

Fun and Not-so Fun Weekend
We had a great weekend in Oklahoma with my family. All except for Saturday night when Reese got a stomach bug and puked 5 or 6 times. She is much better now. Here are a few pictures from Oklahoma.
